Ceramic Brake Pads/Slotted/Drilled Rotors

Last year I bought a set of Brembo Slotted and Drilled Rotors, along with Satisfied Ceramic brake pads. I have yet to install them however cause of my fear of failing, but thats besides the point. Right now I am noticing alot of brake fade when coming from high speed down to normal speed on the freeway. I still have no pulsing, but it just seems like the brakes I have right now are just a little too worn or something to work good enough for me. A friend of mine said that my rotors could be glazed, and I am not sure what that means. How much of a difference do you think I will see in replacing the rotors and pads? Should I wait and get some new 2 piston calipers, or will I see enough of a difference with just the two mods I have. Cause honestly I am not made of money, and I hope this is enough to make my braking experience a little more confident in the long run...

Re: Ceramic Brake Pads/Slotted/Drilled Rotors

You will see a good difference if you have crappier pads now, or they are worn down. Ceramic pads usually help braking alot even with stock disks and calipers.

Install all your good stuff and be done with it.

Re: Ceramic Brake Pads/Slotted/Drilled Rotors

Install the parts you have sitting there and find out. Brake fade is because you are overheating your pads, so chances are the ceramic pads will help greatly, so will a good quality rotor.
