I run mine about 12" from the turbo outlet. When I got mine I was recommended 12 - 15" from the turbo. You will know if you have a problem if you stop getting readings from the WB02, then it is turning on the heating element to get warmed up again. It you get times where the reading stops for 10 - 15 seconds, then comes on again, that is your problem. The readings should still be accurate though.
