It's a clutch issue, not a shifter issue. When I put an ACT 2600 and new slave cylinder in my Talon, I had to bleed the piss out of it to get 100% of the air out so that it would disengage all the way. Just try bleeding your clutch more and see if it helps.

We've bled it once before, and my dad said he didn't see any air coming out. I guess it wouldn't hurt to try it again.
