I got a new job!

That's right - I was in for my second interview at a small company today and they offered me the job before I left.

It's a company called Lighthouse1, which is a software developer for benefit administration... not exactly sure of all the details but I'm sure I'll learn quickly. My official title is Staff Accountant, but because it's so small I'll be doing everything from A/P to Billing to Payroll & all G/L items as well. It's just me and the controller. The company is growing tremendously, and so there is a career path built in with this position for me to move up... which is exactly what I'm looking for.

I'll be right off 169/Bren Rd, so one exit from AJ... and I think pretty close to scheides & hughes. Hopefully once I'm familiar with the routine, we can meet up for some good chinese food!

Oh, and the cool thing about this company is that it is still privately owned, so they have a mini bar & fooseball table (?) and are looking at bringing in some other games. So I can't wait to see what that's about!

Anyway, pretty excited about the opportunity and had to share!
