As long has you have the transfer case with the tranny it will work. The only difference is the gears are a little longer. I think that is what it is called. I have a gvr4 in my car and I can rev 1 gear to 30 mph. I don't know how long my rear end is going to hold though. I know that if the gearing is not correct with the rear. Things are going to break. RRE has a good write up on tranny. You might want to check out there web site.
