Re: noobie question... where to get lug nuts
The MAG LUG NUTS that the parts stores sell specifically for our cars are a little less than an 1/8" too long. They won't tighten the wheel against the hub. You have to either file down the inside end or put another (or thicker) washer on them.
Dealer would probably be the best bet unless you have the equipment to modify the ones from the parts store. It's not difficult, just take off a little bit of the inside end and you're good. Or, like I said before, put a thicker washer on it or double the washers.
And BTW, this comes from experiences of numerous parts stores when I snapped lugs off and needed new ones in order to race rallycross.
