Thats a good point, like I pretty much admitted in my post, I don't know much about this event/movie. I just associated Iranians with being Muslims.. that is my bad. It didn't even cross my mind that it was pre Islam/Christianity.

I guess I will be seeing this movie with a little more of an open mind now :P.

It's nice to have a few opinions on here that are objective and open minded enough to make a logical/valid point which will pretty much make the whole argument a mute point. Well done.

Thanks, and I learned something as well. Until this thread I hadnt realized that the Persian Empire had its roots in modern day Iran, I always thought they came from somewhere closer to modern Turkey.
