Re: A Big problem! Turbo shaft snapped.

Well, talked to FP this morning. Robert wasnt in so I talked to some other dude that was a dick and didnt want to help me. Anyways its going to be about $205 for a new shaft and turbine wheel. Atleast it will finally be fixed!

Thats pretty much all I hear about the customer service at FP, I'd personally never do business there much for the same reasons as I'll never deal with TRE again. Anyways, your problem sounds like faulty assembly on FP's part, but of course they will accept no responsibility since obviously the turbo is a few years old and isn't supposed to last that long....oh wait, there are 15 year old 14B's and 9B's still rolling around and who-knows how old 12A's! Can anyone actually assemble a turbo correctly so it lasts? In the aftermarket, I have yet to whitness it.
