I was planning on doing a full update on Monday, after I get the car and pics from MAP.

I put off doing the turbo bolt because I was having issues with the clutch, specifically the pressure plate warping itself for no reason (I don't beat on this thing, let alone launch it enough to cause that), and since I wasn't doing much boosting on a slipping clutch, I figured it could wait. I wasn't about to do a tranny drop in a freezing garage, so I couldn't say no to the $500 MAP was asking.

Anyway, they get the car in, go to drop the tranny, and the bolts for the crossmember fell right out of the core support. Apparently it was so far rusted the crossmember was barely attached. So not left with many options, as well as a dire need for a car, I told them to go ahead and fix it.

They also said they'll take care of that bolt, so I'm effectively getting back a problem-free car.

At this point, the build is going to be put on hold until I can get my hands on something in much better shape to swap everything over to.
