I can see skimping on some things, but not the things connecting me to the road. All metal is not created equal.

With that logic, sounds like you need a BMW since $$$ = quality. And they must use better metal in case you get into a car accident and your car gets crushed in the process.

Point being, it depends what you are using it for. I wouldn't use Rotas on a Heavily road raced car, but for a daily or weekend beater, they're fine. I'm sure they have quality testing like most/all companies who'd make such a part.

Have you ever looked at the Evo's crash test ratings? LOL There is a reason we had no '07 model here and instead got the '06 SE

I do agree with you though on one thing, Rotas are probably fine for a street car, but there is no way I would put them on a car that sees track duty.

I take it that the Evo crash test rating isnt so good? On my way to google to go look it up....
