10 costliest cars to insure
Since insurance pricing has come up a few times this past month, I figured I'd link this article.

How the hell is the Volvo XC90 the cheapest to insure? It's a damn SUV, and prices start at $36,000.

Re: 10 costliest cars to insure
Someone posted up a similar article a while back. The thing is, all of these cars are less than $40k. There has to be some sort of goofy statistics going on here, there must be some numbers we're not seeing. Insurance on my Evo isn't that outragous.

I agree, I pay $670 every 6 months to insure my 06 MR. I carry full coverage with a $250 deductable. For the same coverage on the 95 Talon its $360 every 6 months and $385 every 6 months for our 99 Alero.
Then again, I am an old man and married so I don't pay as much as some of you on this forum.

Re: 10 costliest cars to insure
These are averages too you have to remember. I am sure there are cutoffs for age and price of the cars included in the list.

Who do you go through Jim?
We currently pay $115 a month on the 01 Prisim and the 98 Jeep. Full coverage on both with 500 deductable.

Re: 10 costliest cars to insure
$150/month for $500 deductible full coverage on the 96 Talon. No accidents, 1 ticket in the past two years (none in MN though).

Re: 10 costliest cars to insure
I use Allstate, curtis agency in Blaine. They have come through for me a few times when things were not going well in accidents (never my fault, just other insurance companies taking too long to payout).

Re: 10 costliest cars to insure
So the $357 I pay a month for storage insurance on my 1994 Saturn isn't a good deal?

Re: 10 costliest cars to insure
My insurance when down I think when I turned 21, and maybe even again when I turned 23, I can't remember. I did that safe driver thing with state farm. Oh well, it'll go down again when I'm 25, if I even need a car by then.
