You shouldn't have to worry about drive ability issues from 272 cams, many daily drive their DSM on them. If you wanted to be a little more conservative and 'street' able you could consider 264 intake / 272 exhaust cams which is my personal favorite combo.

Are you still stuck on the stock intake manifold? That will be a big restriction in the higher RPMs on high boost along with a stock throttle body elbow...
