95 TSi Suspension problems

I’m starting to fix up my 1995 TSI AWD that has been sitting for 2 years after the clutch went out and I neglected it because I was focusing on my 04 STi.

Before I start to put $ into it I know I want to check the compression and timing. I’m currently in Iraq and want to get this all going when I get home. I’m told it’s a 6-bolt, that it has a coolant leak, a boost leak and will need a new turbo. I love DSMs but am I getting in over my head?

The last time I drove it, it was very rocky and actually a scary ride past 80mph. I’ve buried the needed in my 04 sti so it wasn’t the speed. I think I’m going to need some suspension work done. What is the cheapest way to fix this problem? How much am I looking on speeding on parts and any one that will help with the work for beer pizza and $50?

Do it for a veteran? Lol jk

Any suggestions?
