To all those that tried to get ahold of me at the shop, sorry I slipped out for a few days.
The girlfriend's birthday was the 1st of Feburary, so her and I decided to go south (Arkansas) and spend it with some of her family. All in all it was a GREAT vacation.
Highlights:
1)Weather. It was "unseasonably" cold down there...a balmy 30 degrees on wednesday, warming up to 48 by sunday.
2)Golfing. I got introduced to that this past weekend, and now I am addicted
. Oh well, I found it very relaxing, and gets me away from cars from time to time. Ended up playing 3 rounds (small). 2 6-hole courses and 1 9-hole course. It is probably the hardest sport I have ever played, I think that is why I like it so much.
3)Entertainment and customer service. It was an action packed few days off and the people down there were great (Fort Smith, AK). The drivers suck, just like here, but overall customer service is MUCH NICER than minnesota.
Glad to be back, as I missed the people up here.
