Back from vacation

To all those that tried to get ahold of me at the shop, sorry I slipped out for a few days.

The girlfriend's birthday was the 1st of Feburary, so her and I decided to go south (Arkansas) and spend it with some of her family. All in all it was a GREAT vacation.
Highlights:

1)Weather. It was "unseasonably" cold down there...a balmy 30 degrees on wednesday, warming up to 48 by sunday.

2)Golfing. I got introduced to that this past weekend, and now I am addicted :(. Oh well, I found it very relaxing, and gets me away from cars from time to time. Ended up playing 3 rounds (small). 2 6-hole courses and 1 9-hole course. It is probably the hardest sport I have ever played, I think that is why I like it so much.

3)Entertainment and customer service. It was an action packed few days off and the people down there were great (Fort Smith, AK). The drivers suck, just like here, but overall customer service is MUCH NICER than minnesota.

Glad to be back, as I missed the people up here.

Man I'd love to get back on the golf course on some old country hole in the wall course where people care more about the type of beer served and how cold it can be kept during 9 or 18 holes of play.

Welcome back Swanny.

Welcome back!! And yes Hell has frozen over. 48 is better than -17, but glad you had fun, and found a new hobby

In Duluth I would drop the top if it was sunny and high 20's! Just have to wear gloves and a hat.

Glad to hear you enjoy golfing. With my 2 months off in the summer I'm always looking for people to play with.

Golfing is awesome. I've been golfing since I was about 12. I love renting the cart, drink a few beers, and smacking a few golf balls around in the summer time.

Glad you had fun down there. Don't let Dad find out you like Golf now. He might take you out some time.

I love driving in around with the windows down at 40. Did it here. Takes me back to when I went out to Uni on the weekends.

We're going to Phoenix next month and my in-laws have a place at a retirement golf community. It's always fun to drive the cart, have some beers and play a round a day down there. Golf rocks.

Missippi National is just a great course to play. You should check that out for sure. Purchase the biggest titanium driver you can find and shit your pants at some driving range. That's always a good time.

Naw, I have plenty of power on tap.

Need to work on the short game and swing consistancy.

Josh, your dad and I might go out "virtual" golfing sunday, lol.

Last March I was in Tucson and having the time of my life on the course:D While everyone in central MN was covered in 12in. of snow.:D It is so nice to be on the course in 75deg weather when your friends are in sub zero temps.

Sunny and 80, couldnt have asked for better. Thankfully for me I have a job in the TC area and I can recreate that this year:madashell:
