Shep and TRE trannies, which one?

Hey guys, after that other tranny thread, I got to looking at trannies. I got to looking over all the different tranny replacements/upgrades and I got pretty interested. Well, my question is not TRE or Shep, but which stage would be best. I mean obviously the top one would probably hold up the best, but what I need to find is which one is best suited for me.

I guess my main questions are synchros, gears, and center diffs. Keep in mind that my eventual goal is 480-525 hp, but it probably wont see more than what the big 16g can throw at it for a year or two. Also, I would like it to be able to sustain relatively high RPM shifts. Not like 10k or anything, but depending on what happens I would like to be able to rev out to 8500-9000 and shift accordingly. It will have DSMlink and I will be using the no lift to shift function. That said, here we go.

I see that you can get many if not all gears double synchro'd. Considering my goals, which gears (if any) would it be practical to double sychro? What about gears? I see that both TRE and Shep have stronger gears and I see that TRE even has some close ratio gears and shorter/taller gears. Granted, I want to keep the cost down, but would a stronger 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and/or 4th be necessary considering my goals? What about the center diff? I dont plan on running a welded diff or spool, but I am curious about the 4 spider center diff. Necessary? What will it improve?

What do you guys think? I decided to make my own thread rather than to continue to jack that other guy's thread.
