Passing wired through the firewall.

Hey guys I was just wondering where are the spots in the firewall where you could pass wires through? Im going to be running 4gauge wire sooner or later, but tomarrows project is just normal sized wire. Anyone know?

Stupid me for forgetting my car, I drive A 91 mitsubishi Eclipse GS

The steering boot in the firewall works well on DSM's. For running a 4-gauge wire you'll probably need to drill a new hole though.

If this is a DSM, there are a shitload of places to drill through the firewall, both on the driver side and passenger side.BTW Don't be a stupid fuck and run the wire through bare metal either, use a grommet.

Maybe but you cant really see it because its behind the console.. ts easier just to go right by the steering and master cylinder area because you can see it and have access to drill if the need be.

i ran all my wires through the hole, right below the brake resevoir tank. Remove the 2 bolts holding it in place, and move it to the side..you'll have more room. Plus, it enters right above the driver's brake/gas pedal..
