Re: How big of Intercooler piping?

Don't the FS-T 4 stroke turbos make 180 peak hp and 140 hp when full throttle for more than 4 seconds? That is the sled you are talking about right?

Yea they have a boost increase for around 4 seconds under full throttle then taper off a bit.

So you want to make peak sustainable power in the 200hp range? Your definetly going to want to intercool it, and it will have to be tuned awesome.

Re: How big of Intercooler piping?

I say make the I/C piping the same as the throttle plate size.

To me that would make the most logical sense. Doesn't do any good to have a smaller turbo outlet to a bigger pipe and intercooler then to a larger or smaller tb.

Exactly, I just don't own the sled yet, still looking for something local and well maintained.

So I don't know exactly how big the inlet is on the intake. I'm pretty sure the I/C piping goes into the intake then the intake has two throttle plates on both of the runners.

Once I figure out the size of the intake inlet I will just use that that for I/C pipe diameter size.
