That's hott. Velocity stacks in the plenum. However, I don't like how they're raised. I would imagine that it's harmful for flow (turbulance before entry). I'd hack the runners a bit and drop them down to the deck.

They still work if they are not raised. The difference is actually pretty minimal comparing a velocity stack to flush mounted one. I did a lot of research on the subject when designing my manifold. The biggest concern is the runner length, shape and taper.

so raising the stack inside the manifold allows a longer runner in the finite amount of space available between the head and the firewall.
