Car Model Sticker
Okay, I've noticed this on many 2g's Eclipse. Like on the back of the car above the right taillight depending on which model you have such as RS, GS, GS-T, GSX. My question is do many of you guys leave yours on or do you take it off? Do you take it off so that when some loser comes behind you and try to mess with you and you just blow them out of their mind suprising them with your turbo charged car? I don't know. As for me, I like to leave it on, but mines only a GST.

Re: Car Model Sticker
I recall someone on this board (joem?) wanting to take a 90/91 Talon/Eclipse and put laser bumpers on it, just to make people think it wasn't AWD.

Mine is still there, but the last one I tried to take off was a mess.
Maybe I'll take it off some day.

Re: Car Model Sticker
When my Laser is repainted, all of the decals will by staying off. I have never had any problems removing decals when using a heat gun and the spray shit (I wish I knew what it is called) that decal people use when applying decals.

Re: Car Model Sticker
Mine were off when I bought the car. But I would have taken them off either way. Also If someone who knows a little bit about those cars comes up could probably figure out if its turbo or not.(IE: Black door handle, Single exhaust tip, Rims/Hubbys)

I would take off the "T" so everyone thinks it is a GS.

Re: Car Model Sticker
Mine still has GSX. It will probably stay because I don't like altering a car's body from it's stock look much at all.

Re: Car Model Sticker
I've always left my badges alone, never seen the need to remove them.

Re: Car Model Sticker
Or you can pant your car salmon pink and have a huge ass sticker that says Type R going across both you doors. Like the car on the westside. I almost threw up when I saw that, well from laughing my ass off.

Re: Car Model Sticker
Mine didn't have any stickers when I bought it, but if people know what to look for they can figure out what model it is, like blageo23 says. I'd probably just leave it.
