Ludacris and Sum 41

Well Jay Z and Linkin Park made a statement when they mixed it up for a rap/rock twist and tonight on Sat Night Live Ludacris and Sum 41 are together doing the same thing. Anyone else hear any more of this new trend?

How was Luda vs. 41? I just caught SNL at the very end after the music.

I think its awesome. I loved DJ Danger Mouse's remix of Beatles/Jay-Z and the Linkin Park/Jay-Z is pretty cool too. I like the idea that people are starting to think of newer ways to sound awesome.

Re: Ludacris and Sum 41

I didn't mind Lude and sum 41 cause at least last night it was all rap to a rock beat instead of mixing it up. I am gonna have to say Jaz Z and Linkin Park are better by a long shot in my eyes. I normally can't stand Jay Z either but with linkin park I give it a big WooT!

Re: Ludacris and Sum 41

I didn't mind it. Ludacris by himself I wouldn't listen to, and even this mix of the two is pushing it, but it was definately somewhat interesting. Artists working together can yeild some kinda cool results sometimes.

Re: Ludacris and Sum 41

I thought it was kinda cool. Commercial wise its smart, you get audiences from rock and rap. What I didn't get was that other guy up there just echoing what Luda was sayin', he got annoying pretty fast.

Ludacris is fine. I just can't stand pop/rock bands like Sum41, they make me want to tear my ears off.
