extrude honing stock intake manifold

Didn't know where exactly to post this, but I am wondering if anyone has any input on doing an extrude hone on a stock 1g intake manifold. I know those crazy 16g guys at english racing, DONT use a SMIM, they did extrude hone on a stock manifold (it seems to be doing pretty well on their car).

I guess what I'm asking, is it it worth it? Planning on doing a mild port on my head, and depending on what I find, maybe some oversized valves.
My setup SHOULD be like this-
2g piston/1g rod combo 2.0l
evo3 16g, ported, prob around 26-28psi
e85 (1450-1600cc injectors)
link
272 cams of some sort (prob hks)
light port work on the head, oversized valves, aftermarket springs and retainers
external wastegate
Fmic of some sort
N/A tb
2g manifold heavily ported (possibly an fp race manifold, again, its dependent on what I find)
4 inch exhaust (I realize its overkill, but dont care, going for sound on that one)

That's the jist of it, I obviously didnt cover the entire mod list. Also, if you know of a place that can do extrude honing, that would be helpful

Thanks in advance,
Dan.
