PTE turbo question
Ok, well i'm in my last final stages before i start the motor later this weekend after being down since late Oct for a big mod list. I have a question regarding my PTE 50trim turbo and connecting the boost controller. I use a Hallman by the way.
If you're familiar with the PTE's, they have a nipple on the lower part of the compressor housing. Then they have a vacuum hose that runs around to the wastegate actuator. Where do i hook up my boost controller? Do i cut that hose in half and "T" into it? -OR- do i cap off the compressor nipple and run my boost controller hose directly to the wastegate.
I guess the hose throws me off because i'm under the impression that the compression housing is under pressure whereas the wastegate works off of vacuum(suction).
