Yep. Well, planning on it, anyway.

Figure stuff out. I wasn't sure I'd go this year yet but things can change. I got buddies out there who are going..

I'm suprised we don't get a group of guys together to drive to the Shootout. I'd be down if I trusted my DSM right now. Still have a few bugs to work out.

I think we should, because the group I was going with just fell apart. That's why the answer was "planning on it" as opposed to "yes". Just found out this morning that I'm basically the only one left out of that group.
If I can find even one other person from here willing to go, I'm game. No hotel room has been booked yet. If done 30 days in advance, the BW is fairly cheap comparatively.
We should also probably have SO discussion moved to its own thread, because it seems to be taking off...

You guys really want to take your dsm's all that way? I'd tempt mine but no way will I race it. Too much at risk

I'm just shocked that you guys don't form a group up every year for the trek down there. I'd be down if I had more notice.

Re: Buschur Evo/DSM Annual Shootout discussion
Who is even going to be there? Didn't Buschur ban half of the DSM/Evo community from his event? I know a lot of people were going to an event at Englishtown instead.

I thought something happened last year. Too many people doing burnouts and being drunk...
I don't know what else you'd expect from a bunch of dsmer's.

Re: Buschur Evo/DSM Annual Shootout discussion
He banned a bunch of the bigger guys, because of personal conflicts from what I gathered. Pretty lame. I highly doubt I'll ever attend one as it no longer feels like a community event, but rather a "buschur" event, and I get the impression it's his way or the highway. And a large amount of the bigger names have been uninvited.

It seems to be a pretty good split of where to go which sucks. Either I'm stuck in TX.

It's called a trailer or car dolly. If you break and can't fix it get some people to help load it back up.

Re: Buschur Evo/DSM Annual Shootout discussion
Yea, I actually remembered why I hated buschur. From his dumb antics, to his rigged dyno days, to other shit, I hate that fucker. I'd ONLY go this year because of a few friends that are going, whom said I should go (joe, ed, and dusti). Otherwise, i'd go to the other event totally. I haven't seen AMS in a while, and martin is a fun guy to talk with. As is kiggly.
I ventured to the buschur shootout the last 3 years with MAP, but this year I'd like to try the englishtown event. We will see.
