Where did it go? Why was it deleted after being locked? I had some very intelligent ideas to post...as did CVD, but that is going to be kinda hard with it gone. Seriously, haven't we had the problem about 10 billion times? This in the only board that I know of where entire threads get deleted...I understand deleting certain posts, but not an entire thread. OK Allan, why don't you try an explain this one...Jana maybe?
If you can give us a good and valid reason that others agree with, I will remove my post and publically apologize for wasting peoples time by posting this.
I'm just wondering where the hell it went, and at exactly what point the admin who locked it thought people were getting out of line.
I read that entire thread, and never once saw it become heated and out of control.
Also, I'm not over on TCstangs talking trash, but I am over there. I dont see how people cross posting there should be moderated (or attempt to be moderated) over here simply because they are a member of this forum as well.
The admin between here and there must have got together and talked about it. The thread is locked again over there and ours is gone. I don't see the harm that it caused. It was just a friendly rivalry, what else gets people more pumped up about doing stuff to their cars than that???
That thread got me cranked up to go yank apart my new engine tonight. And that is after working on my red car all day!! Everyone over there was just having fun, we even talked about that in the thread. There were a couple of slow cars that went over the line (Tom especially), but it was all in good fun. Everything will get straightened out on the street/track.

YeaI dont see all the fuss. Deleting topics is gay. I didnt see the very last posts but to me there was nothing really happening that was bad or offensive. I thought that was what this site was about? Offensiveness and debating up the butt.
The topic on Politics got much worse than this topic and that was never locked nor mentioned that we went out of line...
Yeah, well I guess its not my forum so I don't really have any say but I thought the threads were good natured for the most part.
They were fun to read and they have gotten me pretty motivated to take care of some shit I've been puttin off. I don't really see what the big deal was, it wasn't that bad at all. Yeah there were a couple posts that were a bit out of line but they weren't on a level of personal attacks or anything.
Whatever, not really that big of deal. It was fun reading while it lasted. Can't wait for spring! :3gears:
