regular 16g to a evoIII 16g..

Well, I have a regular or small 16g in my gsx and was wondering if I changed turbo to a EVOIII 16g would it make more power or would I not feel much change?

I'd only make more power if u were able to up your boost more. I dont think its worth it.

Don't bother unless your regular 16G is in need of replacement and you're happy with the amount of power you're currently making. The EVOIII will make more power at the same boost level, but it won't be a whole lot.

20G > 50-trim

They're fairly equal. I like 20g's because they are OEM made by mitsu, and just seem to last a long time. But if you want to keep it simple and use an internal gate, well then you'll have a rather hard time finding a 20g internally gated.

Bigger turbos just mean u run lower boost. You have to upgrade injectors before you upgrade a turbo.

What are your other mods? I would recommend either a 20g or 50 trim. I had a 50 trim PTE and loved it. Great match for the 2.0 on a daily driver. A 20g is basically the same size.

Either turbo would be fine. Like I said above, I do like the 20g's, but you pretty much have no choice but to run an external gate. The 50trims have the option of going internal if you want to keep it simple.

With that being said, I personally run a internally gate PTE 50trim. I enjoy it.

50 trim will theoretically yield a bit more power, it is rated at 49lbs/min and the 20G is rated at 44lbs/min. Both should be about the same for tuning, but you will probably be able to run a little more boost on the 50-trim on pump gas.
