Peter- How many semesters did you take at Normandale?
Ive been going to Normandale since fall of 2002. So ive completed 3 years there. I switched majors this last spring and that is why I was able to take another semester at normandale. Basically my 4 year plan will take me 4.5 years. Ive been taking summer classes to every summer. Only like 1 or 2 though.

I was going to take summer classes at normandale but I decided going there every day of the week for a few hours wasn't worth it. I heard some classes are really easy in the summer and others are really hard to in the summer because some teachers care and others don't really want to be there.

Here's a list of top 1000 HS's in the nation as rated by Newsweek. My old HS was 325... are any of your HS's on the list? I saw St Lous Park High was another MN school.

Here is how they came to the rankings:
Public schools are ranked according to a ratio devised by Jay Mathews: the number of Advanced Placement or International Baccalaureate tests taken by all students at a school in 2004 divided by the number of graduating seniors.
Just because a person takes an AP test doesn't mean they are smart. They could totally fail it. Another thing is school size should be taken into consideration.
-10 students take the AP test
-There are 10 students in the graduation class
= a #1 school on the list of 1000
Not sure how much I would rely on that test. When I went to HS, they gave a test to compare the schools. Individual results did not matter or count for anything. Half of the kids blew the test off not giving any thought to the qestions. I would only trust a test like the SAT or ACT where a student has modivation to do well.
Peter- You were enrolled for 9 semesters? Holy shit. I am in and out in 4 semesters. Good luck with your career.

[QUOTE=Carlos]I would like to say BS as I believe there were only 2 kids in the state that aced one of the tests. I believe one of them went to mnnetonka and I think it was the SAT. There is a kid who I work with who still lives in HS even though he has graduated.
It was on all the local news channels... And Mounds View has been know for spewing out super duper smart people; I'm not a good example!
