I think the real reason for the difference is that people fresh out of HS have no life experience. In general they have spent all of their life up to that point living off their parents. Once they go to college and get out on their own they usually have to grow up a lot pretty fast...and people who are already past that see them and think, "damn what an idiot, I'm sure I was never like that"

Well, personally I wasn't like that, but I am pretty close to an exception to the general populace. Yeah fresh out of school kids have little experience, but sometimes you want just want to say "WTF" to some of their actions that SHOULD be common sense to junio high kids.

Im done with college at Dunwoody on June 10th. I will have my degree in Electrical Construction and Maintenance. The time I have spent here went by incredibly fast. On the subject of new students and "old" students I have noticed alot of the older people have a hard time with computers. In one of my computer classes some of the older guys didnt even know how to make the font bigger when using microsoft word.
There is always going to be dumbasses, no matter what the age is.

Graduated HS 3 years ago. Going for a MIS bachelors degree from Metro State and should be done in about 1.5 years. Might do a Masters but well see how this goes and how the market is for jobs.

I go to Metro State too Peter (intermittantly :P ). I am a senior, but there isn't any time to finish up right now with the business taking off.

Thats cool Jet, yea Ive been transfering all my classes from Normandale to Metro because it works really nice that way. Normandale doesnt have 4 year degrees so thats why I went with metro to finish up, plus its nice and cheap and alot of options for night/day/online class. I live lie 2 blocks from Normandale so it was nice to not have to commute very far for the first couple of years. I can only take 1 more class at normandale that will count as a transfer before I start going full time to metro. Last fall was my first semester there and it went pretty well.
