^I completely agree. Who cares if some folklore.ose ancestores werelaves find the Confederate flag to be an offensive reminder of slavery. Fuck them, they're not important, I'm white and this country is all about me! I'm the victim!
I find anyone segregating themselves offensive. what our founding fathers were striving for is "america/american"
Not black american, Mexican american, Irish american, Japanese american, etc
Just flat out american.
People left there ancestral homelands for a reason. To become an american and live the american dream.
if you want to fly the flag of your home land over the american flag , feel free to go back there because clearly you feel you country is better then ours.
I for one would rather see only the american flag everywhere. Amd this type of crap in Irvine california used to fall under treason.
I its not that im racist im a patriot and want to see this country become only "american"
I hate seeing Spanish on signs, i hate that some states have to spend half the day teaching in English and the other half in Spanish.
This is america we speak english period.

So as Americans we should be intolerant of those who don't look, act, and speak like us? Sounds good, I've been looking for a good reason to kick the hmong guy's ass down the street from me since he's always doing hmong stuff and he needs to take that attitude back to hmongland.

But seriously, since you think the Confederate flag should be flown at your capital, everything you've said so far suggests you believe you belong back in the Confederate States of America, not the United States where we fly the Stars and Stripes.

I have said nothing about violence. But I guess thats just your personality.
I am simply stating. If you dont want to be an american then get out. I also find it truly offensive that people w ere told they cant fly the american flag in america. Might as well piss on ever soldier that ever fought to make sure that flag stayed flying.
As for being tolerant yes. We should. We should teach english in our schools to help them learn it. We should stop giving aid to those that aren't actively working on getting off medicare/welfare (circumstances provided of course, if you can physically work, then you need to be out there working, if you've worked your hole life and our government fucked your retirement then thats fine too)
As for the confederate flag. re-read my post. Although I live here I dont believe I have a say in the matter.
I didnt fight in the war.

I dont mind remembering where you came from, but dont forget where you are.

Are you talking about the Confederate flag? Nobody said people can't fly it, they said the government shouldn't fly it, right? If you believe a flag should be flown to show respect and remember those who died fighting for the right to own slaves, why shouldn't a flag also be flown to remember all the slaves who suffered unthinkable inhumane treatment?

I see, my fault. Anyhow, you have a much different view of America than I do. I'm not a first generation American so I can't imagine what it would be like to be one. You, on the other hand, must have done very well as one since you are able to judge how bad of a job so many of them are doing.

On the contrary I came from a wealthy family and chose to blow off school and goof off as a kid. And at the age of 18 reality hit. Ive had to pull 100-120hr work weeks for most of my early working career because of the piss poor decisions I've made earlier.
And only one time in my life have I ever asked for aid from our government. I had lost my job and was.living paycheck to paycheck. And had no savings. And was looking at foreclosure on my house. Ended up taking a $40,000 loss on the house as I sold it.
and I was promptly told "no" because I made to much money over the past three years prior.
So I've had to work my ass off for what I have (which isn't much). And thats what this country was founded on.
If I can work shifty hours, 30+hr shifts. And take responsibility fornmy decisions and live with the consequences. I believe so should everyone else.
I dont think its fair to those that worked in school or worked there tails off to have to pay for the lively hood of those that have done nothing and made poor decisions is simply what im saying. I dont mind for a little bit. Everyone falls on hard times. But to make it your life style is ridiculous.
And I for one have relatives doing this and I find it appalling. My cousin hasn't worked in 15yrs.

I can agree that hard work is an important part of America. I'm now exhausted from work and must rest. lol

Lol - im still at work 12hr days. Which is why my posts are so bad. Predictive texting sucks, and trying to edit posts / grammar mistakes is a pain in the ass.
