Is it running theOh and what youll really love is one of the cars I'm looking at and leaning towards has an hx35 also..

The other car has a Garrett 4088 dbb with a built 2.4.

Is it running the stock 12cm hotside? Twin scroll manifold?

I would just take $100 and get yourself on speed density. Tuning is so much easier on sd. The car will pretty much tune itself after you dial in the idle for everything but wot.

everyone was saying how easy it is to tune with link. I don't think its easy at all.

Yes for closed loop operation there is the SD VE Adjust tool. It will recommend adjustments to the VE table based on fuel trims, but there is also the MAFComp Adjust tool that uses fuel trims to calculate adjustments for the MAFComp sliders if using a MAF. With both tools it is very important to have proper global fuel settings first.

But thats just the beginning, WOT is where you spend your time tuning. To tune safely and still make power it helps having a good understanding of what A/F ratio and ignition timing should be corresponding to load and RPM and the effect ignition timing has on A/F ratio. So making adjustments to your timing table effects the A/F ratio and would likely require airflow adjustment to keep things where you want them and so on. It goes much more in depth than this. So yeah I guess its not "easy" but once you start playing around with it you'll gain more understanding of the whole thing.

And whats your current turbo?

yes, I have a wideband.

one thing I noticed is that my wideband reads anywhere from 16-18 at idle.

isn't that crazy lean?

but then when I look at my logs it says different?

I have the white wire on my wideband ran to pin 75 on my ecu as well

Before any tuning at all you need to have your WB gauge and your WB logged to be the same.

what do you guys use to open others logs? I have tried to click on others logs to gain some insight on what others look like, but when I click to open it brings me to windows media player?

how would I get them to sync?
