Here are a few more pictures of the Plasti dipped body pieces. Im thinking about replacing the fenders and dipping them black as well. Initially i was against the idea simply because the whole front end would be black...However my fenders are in dire need to be replaced. If i can somehow manage to cover over the damage and get it to look alright ill keep the colored fenders else ...it will be new replaced front fenders as I source them!

Before Pictures:

After or in Progress:

The hood could use another coat or perhaps two? It started getting to cold for even plasti dip. It sprayed alright in 40 degree weather. All i did was heat up the cans in some hot water prior.

As you can see the wheels also have a fresh paint of plasti dip on them. However to im sure a lot of peoples dismay. Ill be trying the Blaze yellow plasti dip just because i have always loved bright colored wheels. Its rare that you see odd colors on a DSM since most people are very performance orientated and think its stupid. However i think i can say with the current mods i have, I can afford to have a little bit of visual fun with the car. The people that will point and laugh well let them point and laugh i think theyll look sick either way !

Just dip the whole car ;). You can get a whole car kit with a sprayer for like $300. As for the yellow wheels if you want them and like how they look go for it! Who cares what others think. Hell I have a neon pink roll cage in my car and will probably plati dip my wheels to match ha.

That will be rather interesting to see lol pink on pink ! Yeah, i feel the same way ill dip the car white come summer and as my mood's change. Due to the interior being dipped black as well as the engine bay. Any exterior color shouldnt be to bad.

Small update, car is being the typical DSM...leaky crabby, electrical issues here and there...but over all she Runs good.

*Biggest issue at the moment seem to be DSM LINK does not want to connect with the car mutliple attempts with no luck, then itll connect then a stretch of no connection. Its got my pulling my little hair i have out my head.

Speaking of little issues, i believe my head gaskets going out coolant keeps disappearing without external signs. Plan is to pressure test compression test and hopefully if possible leak down test.

Regarding the head gasket ...back groundf info after a few adjustments to the tune and rebuilding my throttle body to get the car to idle at 1000RPM's, as well as sealing up all couplers tightly, the car made 28PSI and hit hard. While test driving though the temp needle started creeping up vey quickly after a few consecutive pulls. Pulled of the highway quickly and it died mid intersection. Pushed it into a gas station. Let it cool down filled up the coolant. However it refused to start for a long time.

I couldn't check anything with Link due to no connection. After some monkeying around it finally started, but as soon as you gave it any gas it would kill. Eventually found a loose intake pipe coupler tightened the clamp and it ran just fine...I doubt that was the issue, because it was still attached to the turbo inlet?... but it fixed it... On the way back it made boost just fine, im just very confused. I have a feeling the Headgasket for sure is done...idk where else the coolant could be going :(

Idk why link is connecting so sporadic as well as my inovative wideband acting up as well. On the Bright side my wheels are brightly colored :)
