Because if it was, as the defendant stated, a nice dog, that had to mean it was well trained. And well trained dogs don't attack people unless provoked. There was no growling, which is what a dog does when it feels threatened, only barking. Despite the fact that none of that was on camera, there is no doubt in my mind that the dog wasn't, and had no intention to, attack anybody at the time it was shot. It was startled by strangers and responded accordingly.

cops can't shoot unless they're being shot at. Unless they were being attacked by the dog, they should not have shot it. Either of them.

Pitbulls used to be the all american dogs, petey from the little rascals was a pitbull, and they were used to help the war effort selling war bonds. And if an officer cannot defend himself against a dog without using deadly force than he doesnt deserve to wear a badge. Hes wearing full swat armor for fucks sake. And if they would have staked out the place they would have had animal services with them. Fools, and another helpless animal dies.

That is the first time ive ever watched something on fox news and not wanted to shoot myself.
Its disgusting that they didnt even find any real drugs. The family should definitely SUE the police department and state for mental anguish that the children could suffer from having to witness something as unspeakable as what happened in that house. The children could have drastic issues with depression, loss of sleep, and an overall distaste for authority due to the horrible choices that were made because of one informant stated. its like he said "Informants usually are informing because of some ulterior motive"

Both videos sicken me to some degree, however the SWAT one is two sided in my opinion. It was fucking retarded to shoot a dog unless it was biting one of the officers. It would be like shooting a person for yelling at you, its just fucking dumb and the officer(s) involved should be fired, convicted, and sued for their incompetance.

However, the fact that their search warrant didn't yield any 'real' drugs or a significant crime is not that surprising. I have a friend that is a cop in Woodbury and works on various SWAT teams from time to time and he said about 40% of the time they come up empty handed on drug warrants. Either because they move the product too fast, get tipped off, just by plain luck, or the police dept just made a mistake. It just happens.

The wearing of American clothes just pissed me off worse than shooting that dog, I have always been a huge proponent of American rights, and am damn proud of my country. I have never been for these holidays that support 'minority' group and hold them in a different regard that any other American.

The Mexican holiday is fine, celebrate whatever you want, but don't get all fucking high and mighty if you see someone wearing an American Flag....Its fucking America, if Mexico and your heritage is so fucking great than go back there. Don't come to America and exploit the hell out of this country and then get pissed when you see an American Flag on some made up fucking holiday that was derived in Mexico.

And I could give a shit less if some dumb fuck was wearing t-shirt with a Mexican Flag on it on the 4 of July. I would just say "what a fucking idiot" and then continue drinking my 'Lake Superior Ale" (Made in Duluth, MN).

Everybody that is a permanent resident is an 'American' and should be treated equally no matter what the color of their skin is, the religious beliefs, ect. There should not be a 'black history month' in my opinion, its bullshit. If someone tried to start up a 'white history month' they would be viewed and the plague to all minorities. It just doesn't make sense to me, I could be way off but that is my opinion, I am not way a racist either, I just don't think things are even across the board. Just like the fact I am forced at my job to hire a certain amount of minorities, what ever happened to actually having to be qualified for a fucking job? These days you can just show up half qualified and pull the minority card and get a job. Fucking retarded.
