yeah, at first i was looking at my turbo suspecting it was a 14b because of the serial number. Later jhann dude found out that it had the e316g compressor wheel with the 14b housing. Previous owner did that.

yeah both of those have a completly different compressor wheel then what i have.

^^yeah. i thought the big 16g had the double fins instead of the 14b fins?...both ways, i don't like the 'small' turbos but evo 3 is a pretty badass turbo.

the link is a 14b. the attached is my turbo. hmmm. maybe awd-drifter was right.

they look exactly alike. I think the last serial numbers are also the same. 1030

I've posted the info and links on how to tell what the turbo is by the stamp of the last two digets on the comp cover on here like five times, hit the search button punk! Looks like a 14b to me.
Was it sold to you as a 16g?

any 16g will have the 6-bladed comp wheel, not the 10+ like in the pic above. Sorry man, I'd ask for some cash back on that deal, ouch...then again, at this point maybe just say eff it and keep moving on it.

Yeah, that turbo you have is a 14b.
