It was kind of my fault the title was messed up, but he can still get a replacement.

So I take it he must have a problem with signing over titles.. Then selling off the car so the person who buys the car is left with troubles on getting it signed over. This time he probably figured he would say a whole bunch if shit went wrong with the truck to make me pay him otherwise he wouldn't sign over the title. Which he wasn't gonna sign over the title in the first place. I also sent him a text and I got a text back that said: Delivery period elapsed, message to (his phone number) was deleted. So I decided to try and call him and it went straight to his answering machine. I can bet any money he blocked me from his call list.

You know damn well that truck was a piece of duct taped together shit. There were NO rear brakes because the rear lines weren't even connected, among many other things. It isn't because you don't like drama, it is because you know it was a POS. I think there are wrongs on both sides, but don't try to act like you are innocent, that truck was a pile.

I had that truck for I think maybe 2 months? I bought it to haul my furniture down to my apartment. Sure there may have been some things that weren't right on the truck but it never gave me one single problem. I also got the truck from my friend's uncle who was a good guy so I never even bothered to look it over. Joe had it in his shop parked in a stall. He could have lifted the truck up and look at anything he wanted. He actually did scan the truck and it had an egr code which I had told him about and he was totally fine with it. That is a risk with buying used vehicles and he failed to look it over fully and so did I. I wouldn't sell anyone a vehicle knowing that shit was seriously wrong with it and not to mention the list of things he said went wrong with it was ridiculous! The truck would not have even made it around the block by the things he said went wrong RIGHT AFTER I dropped it off. I have friends to back me up and family that the truck ran great and never had a problem. Either way, the issue is over and I started the thread to figure out my key situation.

Shitty, This Joem sounds like a tool!!! But Brookdale Mitsubshi needs a vin and cut for $20.00, I had a couple made.

Dude you are a tool!!! Making a comment like that and don't even know the guy.
As for the key just call a dealership to see what you need to get a key made.

Not taking any sides here, but after hearing this story, what exactly makes him not a tool?

How can anyone here come to conclusions after only hearing half of the story? There's two sides to every story.

Either way, good luck with the key situation, and your other situation.

Thanks Brandon. I'll be going to the dealership once spring time rolls around and I get the car ready to go!

Sorry to bump up an old thread, but I lost a key as well, and don't have time to go on a wild goose chase finding the cheapest price. I've gotten two quotes from locksmiths that were ridiculous. So I need to know from someone who has doe this recently on where to go get a key, thanks.
