Thanks, I'm sure I'll figure it out. If not I'm going through every toll in IL and I'm sure he'll have a nice bill to pay. haha Or just rob a bank with it..
That sounds like a great idea. I dont know why people screw with people when the car is in their name........it just screams I want to cause problems for myself.

It probially really doesnt matter which dealship you go to they will have the same info.
Nope, he has to go to Chrysler.
Chrysler VINs don't mean anything to Mitsu dealers and vice versa.

BTW, I got that car from him a few years ago and it broke down after having it a few weeks ago. After doing a few things to it and letting it sit here a year or so, I gave it back to him for cheap because I wanted it gone. The writing on the title was from my friend. She messed up on the title and joe was supposed to get me another one for it also before I sold it back to him.

So I take it he must have a problem with signing over titles.. Then selling off the car so the person who buys the car is left with troubles on getting it signed over. This time he probably figured he would say a whole bunch if shit went wrong with the truck to make me pay him otherwise he wouldn't sign over the title. Which he wasn't gonna sign over the title in the first place. I also sent him a text and I got a text back that said: Delivery period elapsed, message to (his phone number) was deleted. So I decided to try and call him and it went straight to his answering machine. I can bet any money he blocked me from his call list.

Well, you know where the dude live. Go pay him a visit. Shitty this happen to you but Joem sells car and move them as if he is a dealer. I have bought a car from him in the past but didn't have any real issues with it. Good luck.

Yeah, like I said before I like to stay drama free so I'm trying to figure this out without even talkin to him. This way I get the car in my name and everything is settled without any hassle. The funny part is, is that he brought the truck into his shop and he could have looked it over all he wanted and put it up in the air before he said yes to the trade. He just wanted to get my signiture and run.
James I sent you a PM about the title.

I had the exact same problem you had with a caprice I bought. Well long story short I pulled the motor and tranny out of the car (sold them for a huge profit) and towed the car to the side of 35w and left it there. There was no proof that I owned the car because I was denied a title because the other person thought he got jipped on the deal (he wasnt) Well the person was charged with a huge impound fee and it stuck to him. The car I traded was long sold and he jumped titles also and he had no proof also. Good luck with your deal.
It did matter, i had to do it. And yes chrysler is the place to go.
