I think the point was simply that it's not looking like it's the EVO 4b11t.

Yeah, that was my main point. I think this motor should still support 400whp easily. Appearantly these blocks are similar to the ones in the new Caliber SRT4, and there's people making 500whp on the stock internals.
If anyone else is interested in the service manual website, it's: http://www.hmaservice.com/ You have to create an account, but it's free to use.

Looks like 2.5 bar MAP sensors from the manuals, which are good for 20-22psi. And high impendance injectors.

This car is heading in the same direction as Spaz and the Rubber Fist!
Returnless fuel system.
Ouch, that one sucks. I didn't think the rest was too bad. I thought they were making this mod friendly?

Why is a returnless fuel system so bad? Does that mean trying to run larger injectors is much more difficult?

^^ I was wondering that too. I would think that as long as the fuel rail sees the same pressure, it wouldn't really matter if the fuel is constantly flowing through. I could see it being difficult to run a larger fuel pump though. But at the same time, I wonder if it would really need a large pump since it wouldn't have to work as hard to maintain pressure.
