Happy birthday to me. Apexi GT core. It's damn huge. I hugisized it for 79 cents.

I have to cut the bumper supports quite a bit, and I can't really do that in this warehouse I'm in (I think) so that install might have to wait. then I'm getting some Al. pipes, I'll need a bov, the new manifold (yet to buy) and the exhaust welded up and it should be all done mechanically by then.

Oh yeah, do I need a special timing light to check timing since it's wastespark? Or will it just read twice what it really is?

Here are the latest pics, I cut away a good section of the bumper to make way for the ginormous intercooler pictured above. I think it'll be ok for the time being, I plan on having it re-inforced later, once the car is running. Next I have to cut the frame rails to match the removed section of the bumper supports. Who needs collision protection anyway, right?

This is my AEM file I'm working with right now, the only thing I changed since I've tried starting it last is the rev limiter "load psi fuel cut" setting, which was -14.69PSIg. I thought maybe that was the reason it would crank and stumble, but never start. I'll try it later, if anyone else wants to take a look at it and suggest improvements, please do so, I know Ryan is going to take a crack at it, he's been really helpful with this slow-going process. I am quite the n00b with the AEM, but slowly gaining knowledge. THANKS again!

(I had to put it in a zipped folder since you can't attach .cal files. :) )

It's Alive!
Thanks for the hints, and I finally figured out how and where to add fuel with the help of some good friends. No names but his initials are Josh Swanberg (sp?). Thanks man! Ryan, you too. Now I can focus on the details and get 'er ready for tuning.

Oh and unfortunately it still sounds like a conquest hehe. (I spose that is actually a good thing).

Pics don't show - still have that girl turbo on there, Andrew? Jesus cries when a 12A and MPI are in the same engine bay!

If the 12a is still in there, it is only a temporary matter. I have seen the replacement, and it moves a little bit more air...
