I talked to Jennifer about marketing and such for the "sport compact" days. Hopefully they can reformat for next season.

Honestly our sign out there has been a giant waste of advertisement budget. I expressed my concern to Jennifer regarding the entire treatment of imports out there. I have my sources that have even quoted Al in saying that he loves the import days because: "The cars aren't fast enough to injure anyone and the "xxxxxxxx, xxxxx" people bring out friends and family that use the concession stands. The concession stands pay for the track that day in itself."

I feel bad for the guys at Modern about this entire ordeal. I must have talked to Jennifer about possible resolutions for 40 minutes on saturday. In the end I think it is time to just start using other tracks entirely.

Is anybody surprised? That track is a big waste of time anyway, the only reason it gets used is because its close to the cities relative to most other tracks. Every time I have been there its been way over crowded and the track has sucked ass. $5000 just to hold the event there? Give me a fucking break, it should be $500.

but that he wanted $5000 from us to make the event happen and he would keep the admission fees ($35 to race, $10 to spectate) that were collected the day of the event on top of that fee...

Ha, what a joke.

It's too bad Brainerd doen't take advantage of this and hold some more weekend drag racing events.

I agree Rock is becoming a joke. I'd really like to race at Brainerd. Just to be down the same strip as a fuel car would be a cool feeling.

How about we make a petition for not ever going to rock falls again. Maybe that will make Al think a little bit... Im not going there again ever.

So, sunday is coming up. What's the plan now, cause obviously River Falls won't be the place to go to?

Thats a good idea, and I know I'll never go there again.

Banner it up and put it on every forum and everyone's personal home page. The ONLY way AL is going to ever get butt hurt is if it hits his pocket book.

The sad fact is, it just won't happen. Still way too many people that reply on the Rock as the track to go to.
