I am so tempted to call rock falls and personally explain my frusteration. But I think that's a little over and above (unless somebody thinks otherwise haha).
petition signed
btw, I've owned my car for over 2 years and it's finally track ready. I was planning on running at rock for the first time and now I have decided that if this doesn't get worked out, rock falls wont see any car of mine on their track.

;). Good phone chat, we will have to get something organized for next weekend.
I'll try to pool some resources with Al, especially if I get out there this weekend with John's car.

What a bunch of crap. I was really hoping to have my car ready to go by the event, and run it. I've never been to Rock Falls, or any track, and unless an event like this comes up again, I probably wouldn't go.
EDIT: Petetion signed

Well now I have NO reason to get my car done. I was going to hurry up so I could make it but now its just gonna sit for another month because I have no motivation to work on it. Also I wanted to race with some fast cars, not some 16 sec turbo'd civic :). I signed it as well.
This is just one more reason why I go to the Iowa tracks. They actually prep the tracks and they let you get more that 2 or 3 runs in, unlike a sport compact day at RF. Fun days are hit and miss and usually prepped better, but they cut down the number of $35 fun days this year.
