The small ports on the 2G heads make good power too.

and the only reason I have a 2G one is because my 1G one is shot, and Andrew said he'd sell me this 2G head for dirt cheap

from what I understand, the ports are smaller, allowing more velocity, and they have a better valve angle

You have to remove a shit load of metal to make a 2G head work with a 1G intake manifold.
