Re: 2007 Nissan Skyline GTR
I think that concept car is ugly! The other concept they have is better in my opinion.

AWD Twin turbo V6 putting down somewhere in the neighborhood of 400 pony's would make an excellent daily driver!

Re: 2007 Nissan Skyline GTR
The new design in the second set of pics is fucking hot. I'd buy one, jerk off all over the headlights, clean it up, wax it up, and probably rinse and repeat.

Re: 2007 Nissan Skyline GTR
Modified Mag has a section on it. I think it looks badass and I would like a BAMF in one.(for all you Dane Cook people out there). I also read that they wouldnt not make it a 5sp manuel, but some new shifting thing. i dont know but I think it look tight(2nd pics)

The tail lights on that second pic reminds me of a cobalt ss . But I'd still buy one! The first one is just UGLY.

Re: 2007 Nissan Skyline GTR
The second one is what was unveiled at the 2005 Tokyo Auto Show. I'm kind of sad that the prices estimates are so high. $70,000 range. I'd be much more excited if they just allowed R32's to be imported. Cheap, light (relatively), and proven. Instead we'll probably be getting the complete opposite.

Other way around. GM has been copying Nissan for years. Look at the "Impala" (I still call it the Lumina). The new Skyline, the R35, as some call it, is kinda a let down. It will be ugly and heavy and might not live up to the real GT-Rs. Killing the Skyline and rebadging a Z Platform is a slap in the face to GT-R Idealists like myself. Gone are the days of the RB26 and decent looks...at least the price has doubled.

hehe, I like it when people say that about the impala.
also, I like it that people think the japanese invented drifting.

Re: 2007 Nissan Skyline GTR
Try using the skyline gallery next time. Find a pic of a '54. You don't want to play this game. Also, tell me who invented drifting?

Re: 2007 Nissan Skyline GTR
GM copys alot of things. The sunfire is a better "mini-stealth" than the avenger.

Yeah, now, but if you remember the initial introduction of the GTO into the drifting world; it was GARBAGE. Only after they completely remodeled the frame of the car did it do anything. The Skyline frame is out of the factory. And as for the Viper (eventhough it's not GM) its a drift machine
