.pdf Edit Question
Is there any way to take a .pdf document which can not edited and change it so that it can be edited? I have a scholarship application which is a .pdf document and I would like to type right on it, but it is set so that it can not be edited. Here's a link to the application: linky
Thanks

Re: .pdf Edit Question
You would have to have a full version of Adobe, not just reader, in order to edit the document.

I do not believe that is correct as I have typed on .pdf documents before just by using reader. I believe it is a setting when the document is created. If the document can be edited, a T(I think) will show up in the main tool bar and by clicking on it, allows one to type on the document.

Re: .pdf Edit Question
By the way all you have to do is click the text select button, and select all then paste it into word. you do not need the full program to edit the pdf, only if you want to create a new pdf file.

Re: .pdf Edit Question
It depends on how the person has created the document. Some pdf's are created so you can type in them (such as online forms for IRS), and some are not....

Re: .pdf Edit Question
I was going to say, all our work documents that we send to customers with our signatures are done in PDF format for the sole purpose of them not being able to edit it. That way if something happens with something and it's their fault, they can't go in and edit our documents we sent them, and say we said something that we never said.
