BIR or Interstate Oct 8th

They have it listed on their site as the Wed night street legal but its on a Sat. Anyways, I'm considering either that or Interstate Raceway the same day. I know Interstate will probably be better than BIR. So, if anyone is intersted in going to either one post up.

Re: BIR or Interstate Oct 8th

Off hand, I really dont know. I'm planning on calling up there tomorrow sometime and finding out some more info. I will post up what I come up with as for start/tech, how much it will cost and how long they are going to run. It should only be around $20 to get in and race and about $5 for spectating. But I still am unsure as for when the gates open.

should have a: Talon, Gran National, C5, STi, SRT4, and a few others. Those are just people I know who are going. Should be a good time and its cheap. I'll be in the dark green Talon.

Re: BIR or Interstate Oct 8th

Hey guys,

Some of the MN 3/S guys will be at BIR tomorrow. The racing goes from 10am to 4pm. $20 to race, $5 to spectate.

Myself and two other 3/Ses are racing. Maybe we'll see some of you there.

later,
Curt

Re: BIR or Interstate Oct 8th

It was a fun day, I wish more DSMers would have gone. You pretty much could get as many runs as you wanted.

95tsi, I thought your car did really well for the size turbo. It's nice to see someone out there getting the most out of what they have, unlike me and a crap load of other with big turbos and a crap load of mods running about the same as you.

Re: BIR or Interstate Oct 8th

It was good meeting you 95tsi. It was a perfect day for racing yesterday. Nice cool tempatures and only about 60 cars racing.

My best run with my Stealth was a 12.90 @105mph

later,
Curt

Re: BIR or Interstate Oct 8th

I am running a FP T-28. Pretty much seemed to be maxing out my setup at 20psi. I think I could have gone faster however, had some technical issues with trying to go above 20psi... Otherwise, it really was a beautiful day for being at the track. Its always nice to see other people from the board out there with their cars. Hopfully more people will be willing to make it out come next year. And those 3S's haul ass!!! You guys had some very nice times.
I also had 18 runs in yesterday at Brainerd and drove my car home. That almost has to be some record for a DSM. Now, because I say that, I'm sure it will break somtime this week. haha
