Fuck'n X Games Bitch, AWWAWAAWAAA
So I think I'm gonna make Mark take me snow boarding this winter and try to finally do some outdoor stuff this winter.
Other than that about the only thing outdoorsy that I do, or try to do, is get out on Jet Skis.
What do people here do to really get out and about at various times of the year?
Biking, skating, hiking, snowboarding, skiing, ect ect.

Re: Fuck'n X Games Bitch, AWWAWAAWAAA
I started playing paintball this summer, pretty much the only outdoor activity I've done in recent years. Sure get worn out after playing nearly nonstop for 4-5 hours.
I snowboard in the winter, head out west at least once every season.

I wish I could afford to head out west. I have to stick with Afton and Spirit Mt. all winter long. I gotta start saving up for snowboard season, it gets expensive. .

bike trials, rollerblade very infrequently, and work during the summer. Winter brings dh skiing. So between the car and biking that takes just about all the money away.

jet ski's are sweet, snowmobiling is really fun, plus you usually don't have to watch out for boat traffic on a crowded lake.
go up to lutsen or whatever for skiing. or go to the black hills or rockies.

Single track mountain biking, freestyle bmx, and a little snowboarding in the winter. A small car makes all three a pain.

Re: Fuck'n X Games Bitch, AWWAWAAWAAA
i snowboard during the winter, I like hyland hills, because IMO they have good jumps and rails. I like just riding fast downhills for like 30 mins at a time, but theres nowhere to do that around here, So i stick to doing jumps and rails.
And every few months or so Ill go on a few hour hike with the family in some park somewhere, other then that i dont get outside nearly as much as id like to! I should start biking!

Yes, yes for snowmobiling. I hope we get lots of snow this winter. The last few have not been so great. But of course riding an Arctic Cat, Nash.

Re: Fuck'n X Games Bitch, AWWAWAAWAAA
Between my mountain bike and road bike, I've ridden about 1,000 miles this summer. I might make it to 1,500 before the snow falls, but I plan on riding alot more next year, as I got a late start this spring. I want to do the MS150 from Duluth to the Twin cities in the spring. I wouldn't call myself a snowboarder, but I do have a snowboard that I plan to use alot this winter. I'd also like to start inline skating. At the Metrodome they have skate nights a couple nights a week, and I'd like to start doing that to keep my legs in shape this winter. See how many times I can fall down.

Snowmobiling!! I used to go with my friend Kyle last year but I don't think thats going to happen this year. Hopefully I will get to go out to Princeton, MN with my boyfriend and his family. They all love snowmobiling and they have a ton of land up there. And this year I also am hoping to buy an ATV, They are a lot of fun in the snow!

Me- "I don't think you would stand a chance."

Bike trials! I used to be into that. I still have my 12.5" GT Zaskar. It's been years since I've talked to anybody who even knows what that is. lol
