I'm not a big fan of fireworks. $0 spent on them for me =)
I'll go watch some stuff blow up tonight though, that's always fun.

Re: because no one has started a thread about this i thought i would...
Yeah I saw some good fireworks driving into work last night. There was actually about five places that were having a huge display at the same time, so it was alright. All was good except for the damn mayfly hatch that they had down here. Fucking things are all stuck to the front of my car and windshield. God I hate them things. They actually made the road slippery for about five miles, the cops had people slowing way down so they didn't crash because of them.

me and a buddy found out that bottle rockets work under water, coolest thing ive seen yet, we'd throw the damn thing in the lake after it was lit. You could see brightness move, it was sweet, and the sound was all gargly, sounded really funny.

I like throwing Jumping-Jacks into the water. They do the same thing, but bubble up and gargle, then leave huge white bubbles..haha. Fireworks under water is always cool to watch. Too bad I didnt buy any this year, I didnt have the money this time...so I missed out one tons of fun. My friend got his taken away about 30 mins after he just bought it...haha.

Re: because no one has started a thread about this i thought i would...
haha I was waiting to see if someone would post up something like that. I first found out about them 2-3 years ago. He is 100% correct when compareing sparkler bombs to M80's. Lets put it this way, You will never believe it until you see it for yourself. http://www.big-boys.com/articles/sparklers.html
EDIT: BTW The video doesn't do it justice. It is insanely louder in person.

Its pretty east, Take like 5-10 sparklers clip off the handle part so its just the sparkler itself put them all together have one raised (prefer in the middle) about an inch to inch 1/2 take electrical tape and start wrapping it around. Make sure it is as tight as you can make it and more is really better. Once you got it air tight and looking like something out of the ghetto you are done. Then all you do is light the one sticking out and I'd say get the hell back. first you start out with a little show only a 4 yr old can enjoy.. then.. BOOM!
One thing is, Not every kind of sparkler works. If you get the wrong one it turns into a mega blow torch. So I'd say buy two or three of one brand and try it. The ones with the metal handle things are the only ones that work. The wooden handled one dont work.
Have fun! But be safe with them give the fuse sparkler plenty of time so you can get back. If one of these blew in your hand lets just say you would have much of a hand left.
(hope I don't get banned for telling people this..it is a fun to make )
