RIP: Chris LeDoux

Well I see that a great singer passed on today. http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmp...mu/obit_ledoux
I'm sure that some of you have to be Chris LeDoux fans. I never really listened to a great deal of his music however greatly enjoyed that which I did listen to.

Re: RIP: Chris LeDoux

FUCK! This sucks! I was a huge fan of him. My old boss in IA was also a big follower. He was definatly my fav country singer. Hooked On An 8 Second Ride, and Even Cowboys Like a Little Rock and Roll where 2 of my favorites. I doubt anyone else will know much of him but he was truely one of the greatest.

Re: RIP: Chris LeDoux

Somebody had this to say about Chris on another board:
Quote:
I think the best description I ever hear of Chris Ledoux was “he is the kinda man every guy wants as a friend, and the kinda man every parent prays there daughter brings home” Not only was he a great performer (on stage, and in the arena) he was a great man. I got to see him two years ago, and he put on an awesome show.

The good Lord just got one heck of a cowboy today!!

Chris, you will be missed!!

Re: RIP: Chris LeDoux

I can't remember the name of the song but I think it is called "This Cowboys Hat". He did more speaking in the song than singing (can't remember what they call those kinds of songs) but it is a very good song.

He was an amazing singer and person. Everyone in the industry respected and looked up to him. The only comfort that we can have is that he is no longer suffering.

Here is his personal website http://www.chrisledoux.com/
