Power Windows stopped working?

So since I redid a few things under the dash while my car was down, both windows do not go up or down. They are currently both down and I need to get them back up to take to storage.

The only wiring I did was take out my under the dash ricer neon lights, and shorten some of the other alarm wiring.

Ive searched around and supposedly there is no main fuse on the 1G's, just a relay under the dash and there are two fuses linked together under the dash labeled (WDO)??

I havent chance to check the wiring connected to the relay under the dash (becuase I dont know which one it is) but that is what I will do first. I know when I tok the pedal assembly out I unplugged all the connectors down there but Im pretty sure I plugged them all back in.

Anyone have this problem before? Looks like either fuse, main connector or relay problems, as both switches do not do anything.

They did use to work before I worked on the car this fall.

TIA

First place I would go is your alternator fuse, that fuse will cause all kinds of weird problems and they are different from car to car. Otherwise I think you are on the right track in checking the relays and such. If they are both not working I am certain a wire is broke or a relay is bad. It would be a far cry for both motors to go bad at the same time.

Re: Power Windows stopped working?

Figured it out, two connectors were unplugged under the passengerside fuse box under the hood. (I was cleaning under there and they must have came loose since there is not much slack.)

Off to storage she goes!!
