:grouphug: I am looking to remove the factory sticker that is on my Laser. It is the stock laser sticker that goes into pinstriping and Says "Laser" on the bottom of the door. Also possibly looking @ taking off the pinstriping. It looks kinda weathered, and was wondering the best way to get that off without screwing anything up!

Thanks All!!!!

A heat gun, or hairdrier and a soft peice of plastic or your fingernail works best after you heat it up.

you can get the 3m wheel at some automotive shops. It would be better to got to more of an auto body supply store. The wheel would be the easiest method of taking it off and it is hard to ruin the paint unless you are stupid. The othe rmethods work also though. Be careful if you decide to use the heat gun or hair dryer. It is the easiest way to ruin the paint.

Motorcycle cop pulls up next to me on UNI and says "Want to race?"
Me- "I don't think you would stand a chance."
Cop says "probably not" and drives off.

The 3m wheel works well, unless the are painted pinstripes. Back in the day when I used to work at a sunroof and accecory place we used to do a diamond jeep edition for dealerships. Part of that was removing the painted on pinstrips. We would use adhesive remover (3m red can) and lots of time. Just wipe it back and forth repeditively untill its gone. Pushing harder won't make it go any faster. If it's s sticker get one of those plastic razors form a vinal shop and scrape them off with that and clean up the residue with the 3m red can.

We use the 3M eraser wheel at work. Works like a dream and only takes a few minutes tops to do a stripe down the side.

I third the eraser wheel. They work great. I have used one several times. Napa in St. Louis Park is where I got mine (I believe).

Adding the word "Laser" to any car will make it fast, more laser stickers!

Since we're on the subject, what about badging? Dental floss to lift it and then goo gone?

Goo gone sucks in my opinion... It doesnt work well with adhesives.

You could take a razor blade to the badging and be very very careful. I would try a soft plastic scraper first.

When I took off the Eagle badge in the center taillight on the Talon, I tripled up dental floss and sawed. Still snapped the floss, but eventually came off.
