whats goin on guys... my name is Jake, i live in Winona, MN. was introduced to this site by a former member and came here to check it out. so far so good, anyways i have a 97 GST, 6 bolt block, eagle rods, wiseco pistons, balance shafts removed. head is stock for now. had a TD06H 20g on the car until the boost controller line blew off the wastegate and i had a boost spike of 27psi. since then is when i upgraded the rods and pistons, rebuild the block cause the rod bearings spun. anyways there is 200 miles on the new bottom end and she's goin strong! hopefully i will be able to get it broke in and to the track before the last race day, just have a few more problems to squeeze out! hopefully i'll see you guys around.
Jake

Hey Jake, welcome to the site. Good to hear we have another DSM'er in Winona. Keep an eye out for a couple of red 1g's, I'll probably be in one of them.

Welcome! I'm originally from Owatonna, so it's good to see some more southern Minnesota DSMers.

thanks guys... still trying to work all the bugs out of the 6 bolt swap, hey Jed, i've heard a lot about you and same with Vassil (sorry if wrong spelling) and i would definatly like to meet up with you sometime. i sometimes hang out with dan and the boys from 507, learned a lot from Jacek... hes a good man! but yea if you ever see me around town dont hesitate to stop me, i think i actually talked to you last year while you were doin a datalog run on 61 and i thought you were following me, i have 2 second gens, ones white and one is black. the GST is white and it has a black hood and black font bumper, in the process of getting the stock one painted white. thats the daily driver for now~
