I was invited to join Phi Theta Kappa, an honors society for community colleges. I'm wondering if any of you guys would have some insight as to joining such a thing. I know it's an accomplishment and ya, it's only a 2 year college but I am transferring. They offer scholarships that other students don't have access to and provide opportunities for leadership and community involvement. The thing is, I will be transferring hopefully this spring semester. My questions are:
You think this will help my transfer process go "better"?
Academically, will this help me join Phi Beta Kappa(assuming I continue my gpa trend)?
I do want to point out that I do want to graduate with a BS and honors cause I like to gloat jk

. I know it won't help with getting jobs but it's for self achievement. I do know that having a Phi Theta Kappa on your resume is good for a little higher pay in government entry level jobs.
So with all that being said and putting my goals out there. What do you educated guys think?
